HEALTH FAIR

The Health Fair, sponsored by the Peter M. Sacerdote Family, offers an array of health care services, including medical consultations, demonstrations, screenings, and educational presentations.
Partnerships between the hospital and other island health care providers--including the island chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, Nantucket AIDS Network, Nantucket Visiting Nurses Association, Autism Speaks and A Safe Place--provide medical and wellness services and information.
Screenings include cataract, glaucoma, hearing, prostate and skin cancer. Other features of the Health Fair include a blood glucose finger stick and blood pressure testing. Blood Test Screenings for Lyme disease, Prostate Cancer and Diabetes are provided at a specially-discounted rate. (A voucher will be available for these blood tests- they will not be conducted on the day of the Fair.)
