Kris Kinsley Hancock and Pat Woodley Hancock

Kinsley Hancock Photography (www.kinsleyhancock.com) is comprised of Nantucket photographers Kris Kinsley Hancock and Pat Woodley Hancock. Kris came to Nantucket with her family in the 1960’s and became a year-round resident in the late 80’s. Pat arrived in the early 70’s and, after one winter away, returned to stay. It was a photograph made by Pat that brought them together in 1993. Within months, they became partners in photography and life. They married three years later and in 2004, their daughter was born. 

Kris Kinsley Hancock and Pat Woodley Hancock’s award-winning photography has been featured in various galleries, publications, and restaurants on Nantucket and beyond.

In 2007, Kris and Pat were selected to make images for the 2009 Secret Gardens of Nantucket Calendar. Previously, they have been selected to photograph special events including Nantucket Cottage Hospital’s Boston Pops fundraising concerts, the Boogie on Low Beach fundraisers for the Dana Farber Institute and, for the Boston Herald, the 2007 Nantucket Film Festival.

Their memberships include AAN (Artists’ Association of Nantucket), PAN (Photographers’ Alliance of Nantucket), NPS (Nikon Professional Services), and IFPO (International Freelance Photographers Organization). Kris and Pat are represented by the Artists’ Association Gallery of Nantucket.
