Nantucket Cottage Hospital has once again been recognized as a ‘Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital’, according to a list published Thursday by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. This is the third consecutive year the hospital has been featured on the list.

NCH has named Steven Kohler, MD, as our new medical director of Urgent Access. Kohler had previously served as an emergency medicine physician at Cape Cod Hospital since 1996, accumulating more than 125,000 emergency room and urgent care patient encounters. Click to read more.
The Hospital Thrift Shop reopened for its 95th season on Monday, May 13, 2024. Founded in 1929 by a small group of volunteers, the Thrift Shop sells affordable, recycled clothing and household items to benefit Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Since opening almost 100 years ago, the Thrift Shop has donated over $7.5 million to NCH. Click to see photos from Opening Day.
